2027 Hall of Fame Nominations open now

Nomination submissions for the TUAHOF Hall of Fame Class of 2027 open January 1, 2026 and must be submitted by December 31, 2026.

Nominees selected for Class of 2027 induction will be notified in February 2027. The upcoming induction celebration scheduled for September 2027 during the first football home game weekend.

The Tuskegee University Athletic Hall of Fame’s mission is to honor former Tuskegee student-athletes and coaches for their life accomplishments. The inductees selected have demonstrated the highest level of character and integrity.

Class of 2025 Enshrined and Scholarships awarded during EW

Highlights of 2025 Enshrinement Weekend included:

  • The Enshrinement of twelve former student-athletes into the Tuskegee University Athletic Hall of Fame at the Friday night banquet with over 300 attendees
  • Standalone HOF Ring Ceremony lead by Chairman Reginald Harrison and Vice Chairman Joel McCloud Jr. on Saturday Morning.  The pre-game refreshments were enjoyed by the 100+ attendees.
  • Two $2500 Scholarships awarded to the following Tuskegee student-athletes:

  • TUAHOF also donated an additional $10,000.00 to a scholarship fund maintained at Tuskegee during Saturday’ s pre-game introduction of the Class of 2025.  
  • The weekend closed out with Sunday Worship in the Tuskegee Chapel where the Class of 2025 was acknowledged by President Mark Brown.

Finally, the HOF Board of Directors thank the Class of 2025 for participating in the souvenir journal fundraiser; the EW Planning Committee; all supporters; and Tuskegee University for their continuous partnership.

Class of 2025 Bios Released – Enshrinement Week

TUSKEGEE, AL — The Tuskegee University Athletic Hall of Fame is set to host Enshrinement Weekend Sept 5th-7th on the campus of Tuskegee University.

The weekend features the 2025 Enshrinement Banquet on Friday where twelve former Tuskegee student-athletes will be inducted into TUAHOF as hall of fame members. On Saturday, the day kicks off with the newly inducted HOF members receiving their HOF ring during a ring ceremony in Logan Hall.  Saturday  evening  will culminate with the Golden Tigers being honored in the pre-game of the first-ever night game in Alumni Bowl.  The weekend celebration concludes on Sunday with Tuskegee’s Fall Convocation in the Chapel  where honorees will be acknowledged.

Inductees were selected from nominations received by Dec. 31, 2024.

The Selection Committee evaluate nominations based on the following criteria:

  • Made exceptional contributions to the sport(s) they are being nominated by earning at least one letter and other awards appropriate to the sport.
  • Direct, consistent and current financial support to university within 5 years prior to the submission of application.
  • Graduate of Tuskegee University or graduate of some other university
    (4-year degree) for at least 10 years prior to nomination.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities through professional accomplishments.
  • Community service exhibited.

2007 TUAHOF Class Member Howard L. Miller pass away

Howard L. Miller, HOF Class of 2007, passed away on Sunday July 13, 2025, in Chicago, IL.  The Tuskegee Athletic Hall of Fame (TUAHOF) offer our sincere condolences and prayers to his wife and the entire Miller Family.

Miller played quarterback in the early 1960’s and lettered all 4 years at Tuskegee.

Miller was a proud Tuskegee graduate. He also served in the military and was a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.

TUAHOF Class of 2025 Announced

TUSKEGEE, AL — The Tuskegee University Athletic Hall of Fame Board of Directors is pleased to announce the selection of twelve former Tuskegee student-athletes for Enshrinement into the Tuskegee University Athletic Hall of Fame. The 2025 Class includes ten Tuskegee Graduates and two graduates from other university’s that played at Tuskegee.

The 2025 Enshrinement Weekend is scheduled during the first home football game of the 2025 season weekend, September 5th-7th.   The Enshrinement Banquet will be held on Friday 9/5; the Hall of Fame Game Saturday 9/6; and Chapel Service on Sunday 9/7. 

To capture the enshrinement event and provide support to inductees and the Hall of Fame mission, a souvenir journal will be prepared. The souvenir journal will allow family, friends, colleagues and the business community to acknowledge the honoree’s achievements and to express appreciation for the many ways they have touched your life.

2025-2028 TUAHOF BOD Announced, Harrison named 9th Chairman

February 1, 2025 – The 2025-2028 TUAHOF BOD has been finalized and Reginald E. Harrison has been named the 9th Chairman of the Tuskegee University Athletic Hall of Fame (TUAHOF) Board of Directors.

Joining Harrison on the 2025-2028 TUAHOF BOD’s are: Dr. Joel McCloud Jr. (Vice Chairman), James Arrington (Secretary), Georginna Lockett Wright (Treasurer), Coach Belinda Roby (Financial Secretary), James M. Hill (Asst. Secretary), Otis M. McDaniel (member rep), Col. Palmer Sullins (member rep) and Leonard G. Lewis (Immediate-Past Chair).

TUAHOF mourn the passing of HOF member Dr. Rudy Deveaux

Hall of Fame member Dr. Rudy Deveaux.

Dr. Eneas Ruel (Rudy) Deveaux, HOF Class of 2017, passed away on Sunday December 3, 2023, in Atlanta, GA.  The Tuskegee Athletic Hall of Fame (TUAHOF) offer our sincere condolences and prayers to his wife Dr. Hermia Simmons Deveaux and daughter Kennedy.

Dr. Deveaux was a valuable member of the HOF serving as Chair of the Scholarship Committee and always supporting the HOF since his induction.

Dr. Deveaux was a proud and distinguished Tuskegee University graduate and supported Mother Tuskegee through several organizations.
